School of Philosophy

Program of Studies

A lifelong exploration of wisdom from East and West, connecting self-knowledge, culture, and the practice of philosophy.

Philosophy as a way of life

Knowledge that becomes experience.

Inspired by the Platonic tradition, the New Acropolis School of Philosophy approaches learning as a way to discover and develop the qualities within every human being.

Its shared international curriculum brings together Eastern and Western wisdom, connecting philosophy with science, the arts, and the study of religions. Each successive stage invites students to explore ideas and put them into practice.

The aim is not simply to accumulate information, but to think independently, choose freely, and bring feelings, thoughts, and actions into greater harmony. Self-knowledge becomes a foundation for a more conscious relationship with other people and the world.

The starting point

Philosophy for Living Course

The introductory course opens a dialogue between the major philosophical traditions of East and West. It focuses on applying their teachings to daily life: understanding ourselves, living responsibly with others, and contributing to our time. Universal ethical values offer common ground across cultural and religious differences.

Beyond the introduction

Advanced studies

After the introductory course, students can continue through successive levels of study. Comparing philosophies, sciences, arts, and religions builds a wider understanding of human potential and our place in nature.

The international program is taught in stages at different centers, with a study rhythm of two hours per week designed to fit alongside work or other studies. Contact your local school for the subjects and stages currently available.
